Please note this is the second book in a two part series, and the conclusion to Andra and Julian's story.

Julian
I’ve come to understand that I’ll always find her. She’s my north star, my sense of direction. In her, I’ve found my home. She tells me I saved her. But the truth is, she saved me.

But nothing good can ever last. Andra’s keeping secrets. She’s holding something back. I’m trying, desperately, to anchor her. To let me in, to let me help.

But will all my efforts end up with a ghost of a girl I love?

Andra
I'm used to disappearing. Vanishing into thin air, without a trace of who I've been or where I've gone.

But it’s so much harder to do with a broken heart and no hope for a happy ending. Sometimes the only people who can put all the pieces of us back together are the ones we least expect to. That's what Julian did for me.

Julian found me. But now, all Six wants is to keep me locked up, away from the world, away from the Monster. I can't live like that. It's not living at all. Because I still have unfinished business.

And I'm going to make sure the Monster gets what’s coming to him.

He Saved Me He Found Me #2 edition by Whitney Barbetti Romance eBooks

This book is the second of two out right now, He Found Me and He Saved Me. The story begins with Julian in the hospital with Andra and then reverts back to where first book, He Found Me, left off. I knew that by reading this story, I was going to be more emotionally involved and I was happy to be right. In this sequel, Andra has to make a choice of whether she wants to run again or if she wants to stay and fight the Monster AKA Hawthorne. She is with Julian now throughout this entire story so she seems to have a little more confidence in relinquishing her past and finding her freedom again.

The emergence of a new character, Mira, comes into the picture so that the reader can formulate their own opinion about her and Six's relationship. What I related to most in this story is the need for freedom. In He Found Me, my emotions were highly engaged every step of the way as if I were there in her world feeling her happiness, sadness, fear, grief, love, and hatred that battled within. But she wasn't truly free because she knew that she would have to pack up and run at any given time. This time, I was challenged and intrigued by Julian and his feelings. Andra was still providing mostly her point of view but the reader is really able to catch all of the feelings that Julian shares with Andra. And yes, I cried like a baby until I read closer to the end and then cried some more because it had the perfect conclusion.

The pace of the story was perfect and did not leave room for any confusion or loss of interest. In He Found Me, I fell in love with Julian's character right away; Whitney couldn't have portrayed a better image. However, in He Saved Me, I really empathized with Mira. She is this strong new character coming into Andra's life because of her ties to Six. She has courage and attitude which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I am still interested in her story yet to come but my heart reached out for her the most in this book.

My overall impression of He Saved Me is extremely positive. I was able to relate to all of the emotions and all of the truth behind the story and it's core meaning. I absolutely recommend this to all of my club members because it is truly a book that engages your mind. He Found Me was wonderful but He Saved Me was mind-blowing. This is the best story that I have read this year and I am ecstatic about Six and Mira's story in Ten Feet Under.

He Saved Me He Found Me #2 edition by Whitney Barbetti Romance eBooks Reviews

After the ending of He Found Me, I was in desperate need for a resolve to Andra and Julian's story. I got my wish and more in the conclusion. The book find *Juliandra*, the nickname Andra gives herself and Julian, together once again and even more in love. You literally feel their bond and love grow with each scene while they're seeking shelter from the storm that it is Andra's uncle Hawthorne. Accompanying them are Six, Andra's mother's friend, and Mira, his companion who helps Andra learn to defend herself. On the outside, both Six and Mira are tough and stoic, but you see them humanize as the story unfolds. Secrets are exposed and lies uncovered on their journey for justice. Though I was I was biting my nails and on the edge of my seat towards the last of the book, I was very pleased with the ending for Andra and Julian.
As far as a continuation goes, He Saved Me took the suspense of He Found Me and brought it all out front and center, leading us on a long road to Freedom for Andra.

Andra and Julian have found their way back to each other, much to Six's dislike. They are not alone, Six and Mira are with them and together the foursome are trying to work things out about Andra's past and how to bring some closure to the past.

Each step Andra takes closer to the end of this book draws you in and has you wondering what she's planning and how things are going to end.

Whitney Barbetti throws a few game-changers our way throughout this story, some you could have guessed and others you might not have had a clue about. I love that we find out more and more about Andra and Julian and even Six and Mira and how they've come to be in this place and who they are.

The end of this book brings a powerful conclusion to the story of Andra and her past, but also opening up questions for her future with Julian, and Six.

I could not have loved this book more.
After flying through the first installment of this series, I was beyond happy when this book released early. That cliffhanger at the end of He Found Me, really had me going. I have to say kudos to Whitney Barbetti for not taking the easy way out and letting Andra and Julian have their happy ending from the start. He Saved Me was beautifully and eloquently written. The prologue, just wow! I loved getting some Julian POV and it had my heart racing.

Luckily, after the opening, time is rewound a bit to give us the events that lead up to that point. There is a lot happening in this book. There is a new character introduced, Mira, who plays a rather significant role. Julian is working on his book, Six is working to figure out Hawthorne with the help of Mira, Andra is restless and getting trained by Mira and a few other things as well. When she sneaks away from the house with Julian one day, things really start to pick up. Andra forms a plan to end the mess once and for all. BUT she doesn't tell anyone what she is planning- it was so frustrating but I understood, they all would've tried to stop her. She did it from a place of love and was willing to sacrifice herself to protect those around her. There were some truths revealed along the way that had my heart aching for her, and her mom. Some of the journal entries and flashbacks were gut wrenching.

Andra finally comes face to face with her past, ready to put those demons to rest. While I'm glad the showdown with Hawthorne happened and mostly on Andra's terms, I wanted more. I wanted a true confession from him about all of his actions and I wanted him to suffer a bit more than he did. I felt the ending was a bit rushed. We're taken back to where the book started and Julian's POV. Again, I wanted more in those final scenes. Some type of reaction from Six about the big reveal, a glimmer of what the future holds now that Hawthorne has been taken care of, what now for Mira and Six? Something tells me those questions won't be unanswered for long.
